As the rhyme goes .. it hits us over & over again but as usual we tend to forget until it happenned again.
Hulu Kelang .. full of beautiful hills that overlooking our capital that will make anyone glee with envy or even jealousy to those who had a piece of stake up there. But after the Highlands Tower episode in the early 90s, some questions started to crop up. Are we really safe ? Is it worth the investment ? Do we really need it ? Some even smirked at the question of safety during heavy downpour or floods. They felt safe since they're on a higher ground. But not anymore ....
Since shortcuts just to save a few thousands by overlooking the neccessary trenching or even drainage and proper maintenance of one, forever we will be cursed for levelling the slopes .. and for living in one. And people who got stakes in Bukit Antarabangsa knew that they're responsible for their actions as for the developers & all that involved.
